Richard joined Davys Burton in 1981 and became a partner in 1983. His main areas of practice are Local Government, Resource Management, Companies, Trusts and Commercial Property.
He is married with two children and his leisure interests include golf, fishing and family activities.

Jonothan joined Davys Burton as a partner in 1995 and heads the Family Law team. He is a senior litigator with experience in family and civil law matters.
Jonothan is married to Dr Tricia Briscoe, and they have two children. Interests include collecting art and music.

Fraser joined Davys Burton in 1995, and became a partner in 1997. Before starting his career in Law, Fraser spent a year with Human Rights Watch, an international human rights organisation based in New York.
He works predominantly in Civil and Commercial litigation and Employment law. He is married with two children.

Gary became a partner in 2002 after moving to Davys Burton from another legal firm in Rotorua. Gary has considerable experience in the areas of commercial, rural and residential property, financing, trusts and succession planning.
Gary's interests are cycling, golf and his rural block devoted to forestry and beef.

John became a partner in 2003 in the Commercial/Conveyancing Team. John graduated with a Master of Laws degree from Victoria University and then worked in the Justice Department and the Land Transfer Office for a few years before coming to Rotorua.
He was a partner in another Rotorua law firm for 24 years and came to Davys Burton with all of the experience and expertise accumulated over that time.
