Jaya Chittenden

Jaya Chittenden

Jaya completed his BA/LLB in Dunedin graduating in 2009, and was admitted to the bar in September 2010. Jaya was a law clerk at another Rotorua firm before joining Davys Burton.

Jaya was raised in Auckland, and is enjoying everything Rotorua has to offer, especially the mountain biking. In his spare time Jaya enjoys sports, travel, photography and spending time with family and friends.


Rachelle Cavanagh

Rachelle Cavanagh

Rachelle joined Davys Burton in March 2011 as a Senior Associate, after moving from another local Law firm. She has been in practice in Rotorua since June 2004. Prior to practicing law, Rachelle worked as a social worker at CYFS.

Rachelle undertakes all areas of family law and also appears in the District Court as a Duty Solicitor, and undertakes criminal assignments.

Rachelle is also a member of the Grievance Panel at Te Maioha o Parekarangi - the Youth Justice Residence in Rotorua.


Jodie Foster

Jodie Foster

Jodie studied at Waikato University, graduating in 2009 and was admitted to the bar in August 2010. She previously worked for the Family Court before joining Davys Burton in October 2010.

Jodie grew up in Rotorua, moved to Hamilton for 5 years and then came back to Rotorua to start her career.


Andrew Easterbrook

Andrew Easterbrook

Andrew completed his law degree and a bachelor of arts (majoring in philosophy) at Victoria University of Wellington in 2009.

He worked at a Lawlink firm in Whangarei for two years before joining Davys Burton in November 2011. His areas of practice are family law (particularly relationship property and estate litigation) and civil litigation.

In his spare time Andrew plays hockey and since moving to Rotorua has started to develop an interest in mountain biking as well. He has played classical piano since the age of 7.
